MECHANICAL ENGINEER at Cement company (Northern Nigeria)

Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following vacant positions that exist in the cement company of Northern Nigeria, located in Sokoto State

 

MECHANICAL ENGINEER

Responsibilities:

Coordinate the planned mechanical maintenance activities of production machines/equipment

Design, interpret and implement equipment monitoring strategies for the plants

Follow up With the procurement team to achieve quick turnaround  time of spare parts procurement

Coordinate preventive maintenance, repairs, servicing and replacement to maintain optimum performance

Ensure mechanical safety of the plants.

 

 

Qualifications and Skills:

The candidate must possess a Bachelor of engineering degree or its equivalent in Mechanical Engineering with at least a minimum of second class Honors lower division from a recognized institution of higher learning.

Candidates must possess at least 2 years post-NYSC cognate experience in a recognized manufacturing’ production company

Project Management Professional Certificate will also be an added advantage

Membership COREN will be an added advantage

Proficiency/competency in using AutoCAD ford design and modeling systems will be added advantage.
