Dalhousie
Transportation Collaboratory (DalTRAC) invites applications for two
Graduate Assistantship positions for PhD studies, to start in September
2013.
The
Graduate Assistants will be expected to contribute in developing
innovative approaches for the collection of travel and mobility data,
travel behaviour analysis, travel demand forecasting, integrated
transport-land use-emission modelling, and the estimation of sustainable
transportation indicators.
DalTRAC
is a multi-disciplinary transportation research unit, sponsored by the
Canada Foundation for Innovation, Natural Sciences and Engineering
Research Council, the Province of Nova Scotia, and the Halifax Regional
Municipality. It is a new research facility dedicated to transportation
studies, planning and policy analysis. The Graduate Assistants will be
working under the supervision of Dr. Ahsan Habib.
