The management of the most visited African website is in need of
full-time developers who possess a significant subset of the skills
below and are capable of learning the other skills when required:

1. Database Design: You can create elegant, fast, and scalable SQL
database designs for all kinds of applications, especially web apps,
and write very good queries to satisfy app requirements.

2. Web Programming: You can quickly write elegant, secure, and
efficient database-backed web applications using Python, Ruby,
Clojure, Groovy, Go, C#, Scala, or Perl. You will have to learn
Python, though.

3. Web UI Development: You can create usable web interfaces. You are
quite comfortable with HTML, CSS, & JavaScript. You can translate
beautiful graphic designs into beautiful web pages and perhaps even
create them.

4. App Development: You can create really good native apps for one or
more of the following mobile platforms: IOS, Android, Blackberry,
Symbian, or Windows 7 /8, using the officially recommended tools.

5. Problem Solving: You are creative and intelligent. You can come up
with with simple & elegant solutions to very complicated problems, due
to your attention to detail, deep understanding of all levels of
computer and web technology, and persistence.

6. Best Practices: You understand and care about the application of
concepts like automated testing, re-factoring, source control, KISS,
YAGNI, DRY, & code debt.
